Pre-Friday night post
I hate Hungarian bureaucracy — in the last few days I was trying to hand in my tax declaration via Internet. I had to go through far too many ridiculous procedures to be able fulfill my duties as an entrepreneur — when I had to officially authorize myself handle my own tax affairs then I almost gave up. I had to remind myself that the alternative is filling out old-school paper forms and standing in the queue at the post office.
Today I am going to a visual kei concert — when I first read about this genre, one of its strongest characteristics seemed that the bands brake up much more frequently than ‘usual’ formations. Well, Euthanasie, who played in December did brake up; however it’s former members founded Gothika, which is performing tonight. I passionately hate the place of a concert — probably no one will ever be able to clean it up properly, and it’s strange, rotting stink seemed to have eaten itself into the walls. They sell spongy, wet sandwiches, horrible coffee, and their prices are fairly steep. We would not go if it weren’t a good opportunity to see my friend, Cal, and his girlfriend, Monica — we have only met twice, and each time she was very modest and calm. Her blog, however, makes me feel that she has a less careful face, and I can hardly wait to see it. Since I will drive them home, she will give me the pleasure of throwing up in my car. (Actually Mum’s car.)
